I was sitting here thinking that perhaps I should end my 4 month Shopping Tall Challenge with a bang and go on a tall shopping road trip!!! My husband loves road trips so maybe I can convince him to chauffeur me around the country (I'll just have to ask him to avert his eyes when I'm at the cash register so he doesn't see how much money I drop on my shopping spree).
Here's my route:
1) Talltique in Alexandria, VA - I just became aware of this brand new store yesterday (via Twitter of course) and I'm DYING to visit the showroom because I pretty much want one of everything pictured on the site. The owner of this venture, Helen Pappas, is 6'3, recently graduated from Georgetown University Mcdonough School of Business. She decided to open Talltique (with the help and support of her sis...how fun! Maybe my sis and I should open a store...Oops...I'm digressing) due to a mixture of a love of fashion and discontentment over not being able to find clothes that fit her long limbs properly. Read more about Helen and Talltique here. I think this portion of my tall trip might actually come true since my husband agreed we should to visit his friends in the D.C. area. in 2012. Woohoo!
2) Long Tall Sally at Mall of America near Minneapolis, MN OR the Detroit store OR one of the Canadian stores - After we leave D.C., we'll mosey up north to one of the LTS stores in either Minnesooootaaaa (that exaggeration was for you FGD) or Detroit or perhaps Toronto.
3) Height Goddess in Dallas, TX - A boutique in Dallas carries the Height Goddess line! I've been wanting to explore TX more. What a perfect excuse for a trip!
So let's see...when I put my route into Google Maps, it's only 3,298 miles. Totally doable right?
Are there any other tall "brick and mortar" stores that I missed?

The shout out made me long for a good back rub from our favorite chiropractor.
Yep yep!!
You could do a 2 for 1 in DC when Long Tall Sally has a pop up shop--

Good thinkin' Kate! Better start saving my pennies now. That would probably do some serious damage to the band account. =)
